If you want to put a video on your web site, and you have not already uploaded it elsewhere on the Internet (in which case, you can embed it in the page), you can upload your video from within Blogger. It will be hosted by Google Video, but held privately, so that people browsing through the Google Video site will not find your video, or be able to leave comments on it.
To upload a video on a page:
- Create a new page for the video, or edit an existing page to add video to it, by going to the Posting tab and selecting either Create or Edit Posts.
- Click the Add Video Button from the button bar at the top of the Posting window. This launches the Add a Video dialog.
- Click the Browse button to select your video from your computer or network space.
- Enter a title for the video in the Video Title Field.
- Check the checkbox to agree with the Upload Terms and Conditions
- Click the Upload Video button to upload your video.
The video may take some time to upload, depending on its size, but will appear on screen when it is finished. A little message appears below the posting window to tell you that the video is being processed.
Video uploaded in this way is always shown at 320 x 240 pixels.
